Set up a MAMP Folder and running a test method

Hello there,

I’ve purchased the PHP course from Mark Lassoff. During the course Mark uses komodo for texting PHP programming language and MAMP folder to save created php and html files . Also, to test the created PHP files locally, he uses wampserver. I downloaded both MAMP and wamp but still I could utilize neither MAMP nor wamp, so is there any adjustments to match MAMP and wamp with komodo to be able to perform a php file test locally and store it in MAMP folder? Thanks in advance.

There is a good discussion on getting MAMP to work with Komodo in our Komodo forums here: How to integrate MAMP in Komodo IDE - Support - Komodo IDE & Edit | Forums

The discussion also recommends XAMPP over WAMP, but if you prefer to work with WAMP, I’d recommend posting directly in our Komodo community rather than here. Komodo users and support is far more active over there.
