Build Error: DBD-mysql 4.033 for Perl 5.28.1 on Windows

I added folllowing components to a standard Perl 5.28.1:
Win32-ODBC
DBD-MariaDB
DBD-mysql
Switch

Building DBD-mysql fails. The other components are OK.
What do I need to change to get it to build?

Looking for help with this package that is failing to build in my project.

Hi @EBakke, thanks for posting.

Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to build the “DDB-mysql” package. We’ve created a ticket to address this, and although we don’t have a current ETA for the fix, we’ll post an update in this thread when it’s building successfully.

Hey @EBakke - I just checked in with the build team and they are actively working on it. I’ll update this post as soon as I hear anything but cannot give a timeline just yet.

Hey @EBakke - good news, the team was able to fix the DBD-mysql package so it should now build. I’ve got a test build here showing that:

You’ll need to get your project to rebuild and in order to do that you could just change one of the package versions in your build which should kick it off.
