Build Error: winkerberos 0.9.0 for Python 3.9.12 on Linux

Looking for help with this package that is failing to build in my project.

I never asked for it initially.
And I can’t see how its even a transitive dependency of any of the dependencie described in requirements.txt

Runtime Details

  • ActiveState
  • Language - python 3.9.12
  • Platform - Linux

Failing Packages

  • winkerberos 0.9.0

Hi @kaimooz - I’ll get the team to check into the failure as well as to determine which package brought in “winkerberos 0.9.0”

I see it listed in the Dependencies section on the Configuration tab (ActiveState) but, unfortunately our UI doesn’t yet list what it is a dependency of.

Cheers!

PS - If you’re at all interested we are looking to talk to our users in exchange for a $50 gift card their time. Let me know if so, would be cool to learn more about your use case and experience so far.

Looks like the build engineers have found a problem with the “h2o” package which incorrectly brings in “winkerberos”. They’re working on an update and I’ll post more details when I have them.

@kaimooz - our build engineers have fixed the issue in that package and made a commit to your project so that it will attempt a rebuild.

You can see their change in the history here - ActiveState

And your build is currently in progress here - ActiveState - fingers crossed!

Cheers,
Luke
