Build Error: "mysql_config" missing for mysqlclient 1.4.5 or below on Linux

I can’t get our AS distribution to build with any version of mysqlclient below 1.4.6. They all return the same issue, regarding “mysql_config”:

This feels like an environment issue? Not sure, any help is much appreciated, thanks

Reasons

  • Process ‘/var/builds/deps/1/installdir/usr/bin/python setup.py bdist_wheel --dist-dir /var/builds/sources/1/mysqlclient-1.4.5’ returned with 1!
