It allows to compare folders and files using the side-by-side approach.

Folder legend: Folder icons assume different colors based on their content

Doesn't exist a simple way to use opened files.

I want to add a feature that choose files based on some rule (eg same file name)

I'd second that question about comparing opened files, that would rule. Also, it would be great to be able to compare buffers that haven't been saved (either have unsaved changes, or that are from scratch and haven't been saved at all yet).

In 5.0.x versions, this extension doesn't install. In the install.rdf file:

<em:minVersion>5.*</em:minVersion>
<em:maxVersion>5.0</em:maxVersion>

I believe these should be switched.

Hi,

Installed this extension.

It works well, but line numbers are shows only from 1 to 99. Is it a bug?

I can see more that 99 lines without problems.

Have you resized the linu number column header?

I'm sorry but at this time is not possible to compare remote files.

I plan to add this feature only if the community largely adopts VisualDiffer.
