OS: OS X

Hi,

I just noticed that I cannot start a tclsh from the 'start and interactive shell' item in
the tools menu. ( Komodo 5.2 MacOSX 10.6.1 aka snow leopard).

The only tclsh in my regular path or the Komodo Env is Apples Tclsh 8.5.7 ( a 64
bit app.

I get:the following in the output pane when selecting the menu itemL

can't read "errorCode": no such variable
while executing
"return -code $code -errorcode $errorCode -errorinfo $errorInfo $result"
(procedure "info" line 74)

Repositories for Mac OS X?

OS: OS X

Besides ActiveState, are there any repositories that have packages precompiled for Mac OS X? I am looking for a specific package (DBD-mysql) that is not available via ActiveState.

SciMoz message being written to sys log

OS: OS X

Hi-

Is there anything I can do to suppress the hundreds of messages Komodo writes to sys log, all along the lines of

"SciMoz::Notify 2013 used when closed!"

It is starting to drive me crazy..

Komodo beta fails on 10.6 Snow Leopard

OS: OS X

I just tried installing Komodo IDE 5.2.0 Alpha 1 on Max OS 10.6 and it fails. When I load the app, the toolbar is messed up, I can't create files and I can't quit... Let me know if I can provide logs and such.

code appears to be double spaced...

OS: OS X

Hello,

I noticed with a file that I was editing, after using the find and replace feature in Komodo Edit, all of the lines in my code became double spaced.

Is there something that I did or could do to UNdo this or shut this feature off?

Thanks for any help or advice on this subject.

ActiveTcl and Snack on Mac OS X 10.6

OS: OS X

I'm trying to use ActiveTcl 8.5 with Snack on Mac OS X 10.6. I'm getting this error:

$ ./blackbird.sh

I'm running in 32-bit mode, and the snack library contains x86 code:

Autocomplete on Mac Version of Komodo

OS: OS X

On the Windows version of Komodo, I'm so very used to pressing the cntrl+space combination to turn "foo" into "fooVarMe" (if fooVarMe was written before in the current file, Komodo turns foo to fooVarMe with that combo).... I can't do this on the Mac version. Can someone please tell me what the combo is for this action?

Library package does not updating in Komodo

OS: OS X

Hi,

I'm just starting to learn to use Komodo and Active perl.

I installed File::Tail from ActivePerl and restart my Komodo.

But it still doesn't recognise the File::Tail.

I went to the ActivePerl/lib and there are 2 different spot of ActivePerl
1 is in "/Users/me/Library/ActivePerl5.10/lib" and I found File::Tail in here.

The other one is in "usr/local/ActivePerl5.10/lib" and there's no File::Tail.

So, I copied the Tail folder to the "/use/local/ActivePerl5.10/lib" and restart my Komodo. I'm not sure if this is the right way....

Still it won't recognize File::Tail.

Preview in a dedicated window?

OS: OS X

I'm a front-end / interface designer and I'm testing out Komodo as a cross platform solution to do some light HTML/PHP/CSS. Ideally I'd like to be able to edit my files in one window and preview them in another, with Komodo updating the preview upon save. The problems I've encountered are:

1. Komodo's preview seems to be bolted into the main window as a split. I can't see how to get it to spawn a new window. Moreover each preview seems to spawn a new tab whereas I'd prefer just to get a preview of the file I'm currently working on.
