Question:

Stackato seems to be reporting incorrect memory usage for some of my applications. Is there something I can do to get a more correct picture of the resources my applications are using?

Answer:

We do have a patch for the fence process, but keep in mind that reported memory use is likely to be a bit higher than just what is strictly being used by your application (reported use will include buffered/cached memory which is technically available to be allocated).

Regarding the patch, you can download it from http://get.stackato.com/patch/2.10/stackato-2.10.4-fence-mem.sh. You should upload this patch to all of the nodes in your cluster, and you can run it via the command 'sh stackato-2.10.4-fence-mem.sh'. After running that command you will need to restart the fence process via 'kato process restart fence'.
