Question:

I just created my cluster and visited the web console for the first time, and the page I'm seeing is just for login -- I can't create my first user. What do I do?

Answer:

There are a few ways you can approach this problem. If this is a rebuilt cluster that you've accessed from a web browser before, you can probably solve this problem by clearing the cached web content (cookies) from your browser.

If you've configured Stackato to make use of AOK to connect to an external credential repository (eg. LDAP), the web console will not allow you to create a first user and you should be able to sign in using your external credentials.

If this is a fresh domain name that you haven't accessed from a browser before, and you're sure you didn't enable AOK, you can always run 'kato node setup firstuser ' from the command line console. This will create an admin account for the email address you specify, but will not work if other accounts have been set up on the system.
