PPM profile not working

I am trying to upgrade Perl from 5.10 to 5.14 on Windows 2003 server. I am following these directions: http://docs.activestate.com/activeperl/5.14/install.html#upgrade

I am getting this error:

"
C:\>ppm profile save C:\profile.xml

Unrecognized ppm command 'profile'; try one of area, config, describe,
"

I have many modules installed so I need to profile them before I upgrade. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I am having the same problem as dorianwinterfeld.

I am trying to upgrade Perl from 5.10 to 5.16, as I understand that this will re-enable me to download modules via PPM, which is currently giving me a 401 Autorization Required error.

Before I upgrade, I want to save my current PPM profile. Following the instructions I have got on C:\Perl\html\index.html for upgrading to 5.10 from earlier versions:

ppm install PPM-Profile
ppmprofile save C:\profile.xml

-->'ppmprofile' is not recognized as an internal or external command, ...

If I try this:

http://docs.activestate.com/activeperl/5.16/install.html#upgrade

ppm profile save C:\profile.xml

I get:

Unrecognized ppm command 'profile'; try one of area, config, describe,
files, gui, help, install, list, log, query, remove, repo, search, tree,
uninstall, update, upgrade, verify, or version
Usage: ppm ...

Looks like my ppm version does not have the profile command. Does anyone have any suggestion how I could save and restore my modules profile after the upgrade?

Thanks.
