Hello,

I need to use WordNet, and as requirements I need to install Tcl/tk.
I downloaded and then installed tcl8.5.9, but I couldn't install tk8.5.9. when I type ./configure this is my configure file:

and when I use 'make' is my error:

make: *** [tkUnixInit.o] Error 1
----------------------------------

I found xlib directory and X11 directory within it which includes( cursorfont.h, keysymdef.h, keysym.h, license.terms, Xatom.h, Xfuncproto.h, 2004 X.h, Xlib.h, Xutil.h) in tk8.5.9 folder which I downloaded, so I just made a directory in /usr/includes named X11 and I copied all of these files into it (usr/includes/X11).
Then it passed this error but stuck in here:
---------------------------------
/home/user/Tcl-Tk/tk8.5.9/unix/../unix/tkUnixPort.h:84:24: fatal error: X11/Xproto.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated.
make: *** [tkUnixInit.o] Error 1
--------------------------------

so, i just searched for the Xproto.h and downloaded and put it in the directory and again it stuck in somewhere else. Actually it would be better for me to install X11, but I don't know what should I download for fedora 14.

I would appreciate it if you help me.

it is resolved. just for other New people, who want to use WordNet:

first: download and install libX11-devel from:
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/15690803/dir/fedora_14/com/l...

then download and install:
http://www.tcl.tk/
use install manual in tcl and tk directory (READ ME).

then download and install WordNet.
