Run PerlApp applications with -d:Dprof option

Is there a way to make a PerlApp executable that runs in profiler mode, i.e. with option -d:Dprof? According to the PerlApp documentation it is not possible to use PERL5OPT. Is there any other way to achieve this?

For your information. We have a problem with a hanging executable generated by PerlApp. In interpreted mode we don't get this problem, so we really would like to know what the executable is doing at the moment it hangs.

This issue is bugging us for days. So any help is appreciated.
