MoreKomodo adds new operations on files, text conversion function and find in file panel enhancement.

These features are accessible from context menus

  • backup
  • quick rename
  • quick delete
  • Show file in file manager

Clipboard enhancement

New features to use clipboard

  • Copy to clipboard full path, file name or directory for current editor
  • Past from clipboard HTML codeMany
    applications (browsers, word processors, spreadsheets) copy into
    clipboard HTML source code and using this option you can paste directly
    into Komodo
  • Copy selection appending text in clipboardThe copy doesn't overwrite text in clipboard but appends it
  • Cut selection appending text in clipboardThe cut doesn't overwrite text in clipboard but appends it

Text conversion functions on selected text

These features are accessible from Code menu

  • Capitalization
  • HTML entities encoding and decoding
  • DOS to Unix path separators conversion
  • DOS separators operations

Quick access to favorites files and directory

This feature is accessible from toolbar button and File menu

  • Organize favorites file and directory
  • Sort favorites by your own priority

New statusbar

You can show the last modified file time on statusbar

  • Don't like it? Simply choose to hide statusbar from Preferences page
  • Use you preferred time format

Find in files results

Find result tabs are enhanced by new operations

  • Find in files allows to quicky open files found
  • Find in files results has refresh button
  • Find in files results allows to copy filenames or content strings

There's a slight bug with the last modified time in the status bar. If you close all open files, the status bar will still show the last modified time of the last open file.

The new feature consists to the Find Results History Tab Panel.
From this new Tab Panel you can see all the 'Find Results' operations done, no need to make again and again the same search.
