Hello,

I'd like to install bugzilla in Windows Server 2012 x64, with IIS 8.5, MySQL and ActivePerl 5.18 - and I have a problem with ActivePerl 5.18 package installing.

I downloaded the installer from activestate.com, install the program and opened the PPM (version 4.19). After this I'd like to install the packages wrote by https://wiki.mozilla.org/Bugzilla:Win32Install in PPM gui and in CMD too with "ppm install AppConfig", but the return msg is "ERROR: 500 Can't connect to theryx5.uwinnipeg.ca:80 (Bad hostname)".

I put it in to the proxy, but it's still give this error msg. Also I searched for this site, but there is only theOryx5.uwinnipeg.ca. I have to change the hostname? But where I can do it? I browse for it but I can't find solution.

Thanks for your help:

The site is offline.
See http://theory.uwinnipeg.ca/ for why.

According to https://wiki.mozilla.org/Bugzilla:Win32Install
you only need additional modules for Perl 5.8 and 5.10. You should not need anything else if you are using 5.12 or newer.

Thanks for the rapid responde!

But when I run checksetup.pl there is listed a lot of module what isn't installed - the most of is only recommended, but there is some what is required.

checksetup.pl is a Bugzilla script, so you should touch base with them if the script or their docs are not current enough for 5.18.

As a alternative, you could also try the process using a 5.16 Perl instead.
