Question:

My app is returning 404. I am seeing "maximum failure limit reached for route" and the like in the logs

Answer:

The Stackato router expects web apps to respond on GET requests to / for the URIs allocated to that app. If your app does not respond to those requests, the router may remove its routes.

If you are using Stackato 2.10.4 you should also ensure that you have applied this patch to the nodes of your cluster:

http://get.stackato.com/patch/2.10/stackato-2.10.4-router-fustigation.sh

You will need to restart your router roles after applying this.
