I installed a package using PPM on Jun 23, 2013, so it was working then.

Now, when I do a PPM search, I get a 404 error. Here is some info. The repository config seems correct and I did not intentionally change it.

mortvm-trunk>uname -a
Windows_NT MORTVM 5 01 586

mortvm-trunk>ppm version
PPM 3.1

mortvm-trunk>ppm search foo
Searching in Active Repositories
Error: No valid repositories:

Error: 404 Not Found

mortvm-trunk>ppm rep
[1] ActiveState PPM2 Repository
[2] ActiveState Package Repository

mortvm-trunk>ppm rep des
Warning: 404 Not Found
Describing Active Repository 1:
Name: ActiveState PPM2 Repository
Type: unsupported

If I just type this into the browswer:

I get:

Index of /cgibin/PPM
[ICO] Name Last modified Size Description
[DIR] Parent Directory -
Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at ppm.activestate.com Port 80

Did the scripts go away?

I know this is old stuff, but anybody know what happened?

Thanks, -randy

I can't tell which 5.8 Perl you have, but none of PPM v3 Perls can fully use a Business Edition license, even if it is installed. With your version, the only method you can use is Manual Download.
