Vi Mode problem

OS: Windows XP Pro

Hi

I cannot seem to be able to enable the Vi mode. I click on the Vi Mode then it asks for a new name. I put the new name,press ok. I see that Vi mode is not enabled. I tyr the same steps without any further luck. Restarting did not help me either.

Komodo Edit, version 5.2.0-alpha1, build 3664, platform win32-x86.

Do you happen to have the "Source Tree" extension installed? As this extension is known to cause problems to the vi-loader:

Else if not, try checking the Komodo error log at:
http://community.activestate.com/faq/komodo-file-locations#log_files
to see if there is anything interesting in there.

I tried patching it the way it was explained but that did not resolve my problem. Uninstalling it seems to resolve the issue. I was a nice extension though.
