Just spend 15 minutes trying to find out how to change the text background color for search highlighting (added in 5.1 alpha 2 I believe).
Am I blind or is this simply not configurable through the UI yet?
(using Komodo Edit)
Unfortunately we don't have any preferences for changing the indicator colors (search highlighting is a Scintilla indicator). We have a bug on this here: http://bugs.activestate.com/show_bug.cgi?id=81899
