PPM Proxy and NTLM authentication

Hi All PPM Legends,

I can't get PPM to connect to Repository to install ODBC package due to NTLM authentication required by my proxy. Here is the error.

ppm> search odbc
Searching in Active Repositories
Error: No valid repositories:
Error: 407 Proxy Access Denied
Error: 407 Proxy Access Denied
ppm>

I am using Windows XP. I've set up proxy env variables but our proxy don't like talking in basic authentication. I found from Google that I should install NTLM so I successfully install NTLM through direct Internet link , however when move back to proxy link, NTLM still not work.

Any suggestion would be appreciate. I've just worked with perl in less than a week.

Cheers,

Hi Grahams,

Thanks for the link.

I have followed the guide on that page before but without restarting my machine. After restart I got this error.

ppm> search *

ppm> version

Any suggestion is appreciate.
