Hi all,
I just switched from Aptana Studio to Komodo Edit. I loved Aptana's features but it was EXTREMELY SLOW.
I am happy to find out that Komodo Edit seems to be much faster and has some nice features too. I also loved the fact that Ctrl+O takes you to the current folder, I missed that sooo much when I switched from Dreamweaver to Aptana (I know it sounds silly but it saves time). :-)
The only useful feature that seems to be missing from Komodo imho is "mark occurences". It's that feature that highlights each occurence of the variable that the cursor is currently on with a specific background color.
Is it possible somehow to have this in Komodo? I searched the Preferences, its Help and the Extensions here but I found nothing. I didn't even find any feature requests about it! Am I the only one who needs it?
Hi and welcome to Komodo!
See http://bugs.activestate.com/show_bug.cgi?id=32695
It was relatively difficult to implement when the bug
was first filed, could be simpler now.

There are already a couple of bugs which relate to this:

highlight search term everywhere

Thans troyt, the first one is exactly what I meant. :)
I hope its implemented, even if I have to buy the paid version to use it.
