Hello again,

Just wondering, is it possible to setup xdebug and komodo edit for php and javascript debugging?

If so, does anyone know of a tutorial/step-by-step guide on the process on windows xp, one that a newbie would easily understand?

I've been searching the net, unfortunately all I seem to find are either beyond my understanding or is meant for another platform.

Komodo Edit does not contain any debugging components, you'd need to be using Komodo IDE instead:

Ah yes, I figured it out an hour later, I have Komodo IDE(trial) installed, unfortunately even though I followed the steps for configuring my firefox browser with komodo edit I could not get it to work.

You'll need to follow the PHP remote debugging steps:
http://docs.activestate.com/komodo/5.2/debugphp.html#remote_debug_PHP

If it's still not working, try following the simple steps outlined in this report to ensure things will work correctly:
