Key Command "Preview in Browser" not working? (Mac)

OS: OS X

I set up a custom key command to bind to my mouse for web browser previews in Firefox. For consistency with my current workflow in Coda I set this up as Command Option B. The problem is while the menu command shows up in the view menu and the menu appears to trigger on the command (or at least it flashes), Komodo doesn't actually preview the file in Firefox. The view menu highlights/flashes but nothing else happens.

Has anyone been able to successfully bind the browser preview to a key command on the Mac? Due to my line of work, I need to do a lot of previews and manually accessing the menu slows me down.

Which command have you changed the keybinding upon? It should be the "User Interface: Browser Preview" command in Komodo's keybinding preferences.

I've successfully mapped this command to "Ctrl+Cmd+B" on the Mac - I'm not sure what the "Option" key your referring to - which key is Option?

Cheers,
Todd

The option key is the alt key on Windows. And, for what it's worth I did my mapping via the control panel, not within Komodo itself. That said if I try to alter the keybindings within Komodo, it doesn't work either. I just get a system beep (even after restarting Komodo).

The default key command does work, (Ctrl+K, Ctrl+V) however I can't map that command with my Logitech software.

Ah, I see what your trying to do - I'm not sure any of the Cmd+Alt key combinations will work correctly with Komodo. You should be able to get another key binding to work correctly (Ctrl+Alt+B), can you map your mouse to use that?
