HTML--2 views: complex and streamlined--how to switch?

OS: Windows XP Pro
What are they called and how to switch between them?--the two views of HTML code: the complex, dense one with all the "<span><span>" etc clutter, and the streamlined one that is easier to edit?

Komodo does not offer a streamlined editing view of HTML - but rather shows the source code (for editing) or the HTML preview (in the browser).
There is no HTML WYSIWYG editing in Komodo.
