A stupid question: how do I update my SciViews-K extension to the latest version in the Komodo -> Extensions section? I did not put it there (but I am happy that someone else did), but now, I would like to upload a new version there.

Unfortunately only the original author of the post can update the extension. I just sent you and the person with that account an email about this, it is a relatively simple thing to do.
