PDK problem with Perl 10

This is a repeated posting that I sent to PDK support.

I've recently been experimenting with compiling Tkx Win and Mac applications using the latest Perlapp from PDK. I had a strange report that the resulting applications sometimes would not startup, even though many people said it was fine.
I've now located the problem. It seems that if an application is created under Perl 5.10, the executable created by PDK will die if it is run under Perl 5.9 or 5.8, despite supposedly creating a self contained standalone. It will run normally if Perl is NOT installed, or if Perl 10 is installed.

Can this problem be fixed by the ActiveState team? If not, does anybody know a workaround?

Laurence.
