The new (??) documentation

I recently upgraded ActivePerl from 5.8.something to the latest version (5.8.8 build 819). When browsing the documentation, I've noticed that alot of links are no longer links.

For example, in the perlfunc page, functions such as "exist" or "join" are no longer links to the appropriate section of that page. What's silly is that the entries are right there on the page, if you scroll down you can find them yourself.

At first I thought this was a bug in my documentation, but it's also the same behaviour on the Documentation pages here on the webserver. It's not a big issue, but it's a royal pain in the butt having to do a text search for a function because the hyperlink isn't working.

Is this deliberate? If so, why? If not, could someone look into fixing it?

Thanks for reportingt this problem. This is actually a known issue with the current doc set, and will be fixed in the next release of Activeperl.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'll look forward to the fixed documentation. Incidentally, do you think that when it's released I'll have to redownload the whole package? Or will it be available in a convenient 'documentation only' pack? Personally, I'm hoping for the latter (unless it'll be released with a bunch of code updates).
