I've just been playing around with Komodo 4.2 and it looks good so far - the soft characters in particular are a nice addition.

One question regarding the spell checking though: is it possible to change the dictionary to British English?

G'Bye Komodo 4.1!

Thanks Eric, that's a useful document. :-)

Incidentally I found that my dictionaries (i.e. the ones that I've installed myself) are stored in my Firefox profile, but that might be specific to Macs, I don't know?

I was looking more at how Thunderbird handles dictionaries, and on the Mac they're stored in /Applications/Thunderbird.app/Contents/MacOS/dictionaries/

I don't know how Firefox is handling dictionaries, but the Komodo code uses the Mozilla spellchecker, which definitely looks in the application's install area, and not in the profile area.

Ooh this release snuck up on me, can't wait to enjoy the auto-update. Also unmentioned here is true jQuery support! Will be awesome to have 1.2 support but I know we are all waiting on the XML API Docs translation. I'm also excited for the Open Komodo, thanks for all the hard work guys! WebDev is getting easier by the picosecond. I don't know how I ever did it before Komodo!!
