Find in Project Files

OS: All / Any

I created the Find in Project Files extension after constantly wanting to do "Find in Files" on specific folders within a project directory tree -- especially when using Live Folders. This is clumsy to do with the standard "Find in Files" dialog/toolbar since you either have to a) type in a path, or b) use the directory chooser.

The Find in Project Files extension makes this easier by allowing you to right-click a file or folder contained in the Project tab and do a "Find in Files" within that folder. The folder name is automatically brought up in the "Search in" textbox, so you can simply type in your search term and go.

Known limitations:
-- Using "Find in Project Files" will destroy the current path(s) in the standard "Find in Files" dialog. (See http://bugs.activestate.com/show_bug.cgi?id=68918 for an explanation, if you're interested.)
-- The right-click "Find in Files" option also shows up in the Toolbox. I'm not sure if this can be worked around yet, but you can safely ignore it for the moment. (See http://support.activestate.com/forum-topic/sub-menu for an explanation.)
-- I'm not sure if this works on remote file paths since I only work off a local drive.
