Feature Request Highlight Code vs Html

Hello folks,

We're changing editors here and we used to Homesite. As you may know, Homesite was able to highlight code vs html. We tried to find something that does that and we've found nothing.

So here's a request :)

Thanks!

Can you elaborate on what you mean? better yet, would you mind submitting this in our bug tracker as an enhancement request?

Could you post a screenshot showing the feature you're looking for? Komodo does currently provide syntax coloring that is apropriate per language in an html file, so I'm not entirely clear on what you're looking for. I haven't used Homesite much since before Adobe/Macromedia acquired it, and don't recall that feature specifically.

Sorry, english isn't my primary language. I mean the background coloring is different when you are server side or client side, here's a example of an old asp webpage:

I'll send that in your bug tracker if you can confirm me that we can't do that.

We don't do that, so please submit the enhancement. We discussed the issue this morning and agreed that it is totally possible to do this, we're just not sure what the effort involved would be.
