Hi everybody,
I'm a student of math and chemistry and started a project in GNU R and up to know I'm looking for a good Editor. As I know OpenKomodo from some webprojects I've done my question is if there is a possibility to add the Support for GNU R also to Openkomodo so that the sourcecode can be run directly out of Komodo and a kind of syntax highlighting works.
If somebody is able to do so, would be nice to let me know, because I'm not the great programmer but I'm searching such a kind of tool for me and for many other students that are in the same position as I'm now.
Kind Regards
Martin
I think this is what you're looking for:
http://www.sciviews.org/OpenKore/
EDIT: Just noticed that this does *not* supply syntax highlighting for R. I've added a Komodo bug for that:
http://bugs.activestate.com/show_bug.cgi?id=77452
Please, look at http://www.sciviews.org/SciViews-K for new stuff and for the *real* extension.
We are working mainly on the integration/interaction between Komodo and R currently. Of course, R syntax highlighting is important too... but it seems other people now are working too on this topic ;-)
Best,
