



Here's my 2nd entry—this time in the form of a real extension, not just a macro. It's pretty simple, but I took the time to document it so that this can serve as a reference to other [potential] extension authors.
If you're interested, you should unzip the xpi (and the nested jar) and take a look.
The extension, itself, adds a new option to the context menu of the editor pane, "Copy Encoded", which spawns a sub-menu for "HTML" or "URL", which, when activated, copy the selection as HTML encoded data, or URL encoded data, respectively.
I, personally, find this very useful. Hopefully someone else will, too.
