I am wondering when ActivePython 2.5 will appear? I am looking for Linux and Solaris builds specifically. I have used ActivePython 2.4 before so I would like to have 2.5 if possible instead of downloading the stuff from somewhere else or compiling it myself.
I also noticed that for version 2.4.3.11 there are 32- and 64-bit versions. Is the Solaris version you deliver 32 or 64-bit?
Thanks

Trent is working on ActivePython right now, so it should show itself in a few weeks.

Hopefully I'll have APy 2.5 ready in about two weeks.
The solaris builds are currently 32-bit.
Thanks for your comments. Looks like nobody is doing 64-bit Solaris builds so I tried compiling it myself and I found nothing but trouble. I could manage 32-bit Solaris and 64-bit Redhat Linux but 64-bit Solaris was a tremendous pain. Any particular reason why you are not doing 64-bit Solaris yourselves? I wouldn't be surprised if you had the same headache I did :)
We haven't had enough demands for 64-bit solaris ActivePython to justify spending the time in digging into yet. I believe you that it would be a pain.
