4.4 Alpha 1 available

Hello Everyone,

Komodo 4.4 alpha 1 is now available for download. This is the first alpha for a short dev cycle, we hope to have 4.4 release late June. Alpha 1 contains all the major enhancements and all the major code changes required for additional enhancements that will come in the next few weeks.

Komodo 4.4 focuses on enhanced functionality in IDE around Source code control, Unit Testing and the Code intelligence system. Both Edit and IDE are receiving a wealth of smaller fixes and enhancements.

This update is not available from the automated update server. The new bits are here:

http://downloads.activestate.com/Komodo/

Note that this build is of alpha quality and hence not recommended for
full daily use. We know that there are some rough edges in there but
wanted to get it out sooner to get feedback.

We are keen to get feedback on all of the above, and any other issues
you run into.

Some details on code intelligence system improvements

Can you give us some more info for the code intelligence system improvements, because there is nothing about them in the 4.4 features page. I guess many users are looking forward such improvements and it would nice to know what to expect. Such info would also help us to better test those new features.
