4.3 Beta 2 & HTML Code Completion Not Working

Posted by baez on 2008-02-28 09:13

Hi all,

I'm currently running this version of Komodo Edit:

Komodo Edit, version 4.3.0-beta2, build 975, platform linux-libcpp6-x86.
Built on Sat Feb 23 01:34:50 2008.

When I edit a standard ol' HTML file, I don't get any code completions for the tags. It just says "No completions found" in the lower left corner of the main window.

I know this is a beta, but I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong...? Or if there is some way that I can manually enable HTML code completions?

Thanks!

I'm not sure if you meant autocompletion for elements or attributes, but either way it's not good. This doesn't seem to be a problem in 4.2. The attribute completions work in XHTML 1.0 documents but not HTML 4.01 Transitional ones.

I've created the following bug to track this:

Yup

Ah, yes, sorry for not being clear, but you got it. Attributes for HTML 4.01 documents.

Thanks!
