ODBC Connection works on Command line, but not in Web Browser

I have a perl app that happily retrieves from a MS-SQL database when run on the command line. However, when I run it from a web browser nothing is displayed. It fails to connect to the database

It must be due to the browser not running as "my user" and running as the "web user", which does not have permission to connect. Where can I check this?

I feel that I'm really close. HELP:>

I figured out the problem.

I figured out the problem. The PDK is pa-risc only, and the Activestate perl installation on hp's site fails to install pa-risc version, only Itanium.

So the workaround was finding a pa-risc server and everything worked great.

the latest error message is related to not finding a file 'libintl.so'

is this a common problem on HPUX compile gcc?
