 <description>&lt;p&gt;I figured it was something like that, but didn&#039;t even think to look for a 32 bit version of the ODBC applet.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>ODBC and x64</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;When you&#039;re using ODBC in a x32 app on x64 windows you need to add the data sources using odbcad32.exe (located in c:\windows\syswow64).  The ODBC Data Source Administrator in control panel only applies to native x64 apps.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>ODBC on Windows Vista x64</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;If I install the win32 version of ActivePython, all of my ODBC connectors complain that &quot;Data source name not found and no default driver specified in LOGIN&quot;. (These all work on several win32 machines around the office)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If I install the x64 version, dbi and odbc don&#039;t exist...and neither does the editor!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Basically I&#039;m using ODBC to connect to several iSeries machines. Alternatives? Suggestions?&lt;/p&gt;
