We've found a bug with the proxy settings dialog in the Komodo preferences. They are not persisting (being set correctly) on the Windows platform. See:

You can still set the proxy values using the "about:config" mentioned above.

Thanks for your response. In case anyone else wants to set it, here are the relevant keys.

network.proxy.http        your HTTP proxy host name
network.proxy.port        and port

network.proxy.ssl           same as for network.proxy.http
network.proxy.ssl_port    and network.proxy.port

network.proxy.type        1

The network.proxy.type is important, it activates the manual configuration. See the Firefox documentation for details and other parameters.

You can configure through about:config, which is fine. We'll be looking at exposing the configuration for this before final release of 4.2.

I'm probably missing something obvious here, but how do I set the HTTP/HTTPS/FTP proxy settings in Komodo? I changed the settings in about:config, but I don't think that's the way I'm supposed to do it.
